Durham Electrics where appointed by Rivergreen Developments PLC to assist with the electrical rewire of a Fernhill cottage in Durham City. Fernhill Cottage is one of three properties on the Fernhill estate. There is the main house Fernhill, the cottage and the lodge located at the main entrance eastern corner.

Durham Electrics worked alongside multiple tradesmen to give the cottage a complete overhaul with modern fixtures and fittings bringing the once forgotten spaces back to life. The electrical installation included LED lighting throughout the free flowing property, underfloor heating to the ground floor spaces and ensuite bathrooms. The property was fitted with modern security devices including CCTV. The property also benefits from AV outlets in every room. Externally the property was fitting with modern lighting with movement and daylight sensors.
