Whirlpool recalls Hotpoint & Indesit tumble dryers

Whirlpool have completed a safety safety review of its product portfolio resulting in a number of tumble dryers causing concern. The brands affected are Hotpoint, Indesit and Creda manufactured between April 2004 and September 2015.
Whirlpool state that in rare cases, excess fluff can come into contact with the heating element and present a fire risk. Customers affected will be contacted to arrange a free visit from an engineer to modify your appliance. There is an estimated 12,000 fires occurring in homes every year caused by faulty appliances. This isn't related to large appliances but can also includes items such as hair straighteners. Below is a list of products on the recall list in the last couple of months.
