My Hair Dresser (MHD) Hair Straightner / Curling Iron (Model Number MHD-059)

Recall Date 7th December 2015

Description: White and black plastic hair straightner / curling iron supplied in a cardboard box.

Risk of electric shock due to inadeqaute construction.

Stop using this product with immediate effect and disconnect from power.

Martindale Socket Testers (Model Number EZ150 and EZ650)

Recall Date: 2nd December 2015

Description: Yellow plug in socket testers. Affected model number EZ150 and EZ650 with serial numbers between 50 000 000 and 213 999 999.

Risk: In some instances the top of these units may detach, resulting in exposure of live parts and posing a risk of electric shock.

Recall Date: 1st December 2015

Description: Black and white air runner balance boards sold from Halfords. Affected serial numbers 190375, 192470, 192488

Risk: Product is supplied with non-compliant, substandard plugs and chargers which may present a hazard to users.

Halogen Oven (from Aldi)

Recall Date: 26th November 2015

Description: Halogen oven sold in Aldi stores from 22nd October as part of a special buy event.

Risk: Unsepcified safety issue cause by component failure.

Baby Start LED Nighlight (from Homebase)

Recall Date: 24th November 2015

Description: Plug-in LED nightlight sold by Homebase. Product article number 126116.

Risk: The product has been made without an internal fuse, and in certain situations this may lead to a premature failure of other components. If there is a spike in the electrical current it is possible that the product may fail and emit smoke or cuase a small explosion. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant national standard.
