As local electrical contractor, Durham Electrics is able to offer a full electrical emergency call out service. This is available for your business premises or residential premises.  Our skilled electricians will get your power back on by either a temporary or permanent fix. However, there are some occasions when a secondary visit will be required or there is a power outage on the grid. In these instances we will always let you know the outcome before departure.

As we carry out work on behalf of British Gas, Axa, HomeServe and others you can be assured that all our electricians are DBS checked. We aim to attend emergency call outs within 4 hours.

Monday to Sunday (08:00-17:59)

Outside normal working hours and Bank Holidays (18:00-23:59)

£90.00

 

Christmas, Boxing and New Year's Day

 

We offer emergency call out cover on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. The fee will be £180.00. This covers the first hour.

 

Additional Fees

 

Fees quoted above include one hours labour. Should the engineer require to undertake additional hours to resolve your issue you will be charged at £15.00 per half hour and £30.00 per hour. The fees above include VAT but do not include the cost of materials. You will be advised of the cost of materials prior to installation. Call out fees are payable on arrival of the engineer. We can also take card payments over the phone if you are calling on behalf of a tenant or relative.
