Durham Electrics specialise in LED and energy efficient lighting installations and maintenance.  We work with our suppliers to provide you with a unique supply and installation service for all lighting products.

We offer a vast array of electrical services across the region including out of hours emergency electricians inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas.  Durham Electrics supply emergency electrical cover on behalf of well known household insurance and utility providers. Our work occasionally takes us outside of Durham to nearby North Yorkshire, Northumberland and Cumbria.

Background

 

Established in August 2009 operating as a sole trader until December 2011 when it was registered with companies house as a limited company - Durham Electrics Limited.. Durham Electrics is a reputable and well known electrical contractor in County Durham and the North East.  We specialise in LED conversion and upgrades of existing lighting systems.  We are an approved domestic electrical contractor in County Durham with all the relevant qualifications and documentation to allow us to complete all our work to the highest standard.

In 2018 we expanded our services to offer Fire Safety by our BAFE registered engineer. In 2019 we expanded our service offering further still by recongising the skills, knowledge and experience of our in-house Health, Safety and Environment practitioner. We therefore ventured into a new sector of consultancy services.
